The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Originally published in 1876, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (along with Twain’s Huckleberry Fin) is one of the best known works of American youth literature. It is a lively tale of the action packed and adventurous boyhood set in Missouri, where Tom and his friend Huck Finn having all the kinds of adventures nearly all boys can relate to.
As an interesting side-note, this was the first novel to be written on a typewriter. I wonder what Mark Twain would think to know you were listening to his work as a free audiobook nearly 130 later!?
