On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection
Published in 1895, Charles Darwin’s, Origin of Species, was a momentous point in evolutionary biology and in science overall. It put forward the theory that species evolve over the course of generations through a process known as natural selection. The book was considered controversial as it challenged accepted dogmas of the time about the theory of creation. Amazingly the theories expounded in the book are still causing problems with fundamentalist Christians. The book was based around the mass of experimental evidence Darwin had built up during and after his famous trip aboard the Beagle in the 1830s.
A triumph of a book which everyone should have an understanding of. Easily digestible in audiobook format. Stream or download with us for free.
